Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday summoned a meeting of the government spokespersons.
According to the details, the meeting will be started at 4:30 pm. Sources said that the meeting will review the economic and political situation of the country.
Moreover, the participants of the meeting will also assess the ongoing political movement of the opposition alliance.
In addition to this, Imran Khan will also be briefed on the latest situation of the COVID-19 pandemic and the steps taken by the government to curb the spread of the dread virus.
Imran Khan will address the spokesperson to brief over the federal government’s strategy to fight against coronavirus and economic targets of the country.
Earlier today Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing a ceremony at the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) headquarters in Rawalpindi, urged the people to stand against the drug menace and save the younger generation.
He also directed other ministries to play their role in drug prevention. PM said that drug addiction has become a curse for society, adding that the government has vowed to save Pakistani youth from the problem.
Imran Khan said that more than 7 million young people in Pakistan have fallen prey to drug addiction, which is a dangerously high number.
Imran Khan said that the use of drugs in educational institutions is a worrying sign and all measures will be taken to end its spread.
