Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting on Pakistan Island Development Authority and Ravi Urban Development Authority in which the partnership process with Chinese companies was briefed.

During the briefing, it was stated that FWO and NLC have started work in Ravi Urban Development Authority while the time frame for completion of various phases of the project has been clearly fixed.

Prime Minister Imran Khan directed to ensure the completion of these projects on time.

Imran Khan said that these two projects are of utmost importance in view of the growing demand in the housing sector.

The Prime Minister also said that the positive aspects of these projects need to be highlighted while raising awareness among the people through these campaigns that many of our economic and environmental problems would be solved through these projects.

Imran Khan said that the Pakistan Island Development Authority and Ravi Urban Development Authority project would reduce environmental pollution while providing jobs and employment opportunities to the people.

Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that the time frame should be fixed for timely completion of various phases of these two projects while we have to ensure full participation of Pakistanis abroad in these projects as well.

The meeting was also attended by Shibli Faraz, Syed Ali Haider Zaidi, Dr Shahbaz Gul and Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Chairman New Pakistan Housing Authority, Chairman Ravi Urban Development Authority and Chairman Pakistan Island Development Authority and senior government officials.
