Scores of people from all walks of life attired in traditional Sindhi topi and Ajrak to mark the Sindhi Cultural Day across the province. Sindh Culture Day stresses us to reiterate and recall the message of love and unity.

According to the details, political and religious organizations jointly celebrated the Sindh Cultural Day with traditional fervor and zeal by organizing rallies on Sunday.

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in his message on the eve of Sindh Culture Day; has said that Indus civilization is the crown of Pakistan and Sindh’s Culture is in fact a message of unity and harmony. The PPP Chairman said that this was the Day of Youth who is the real heir of this rich heritage.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the rich music or cultural dance of Mehran valley has given the arts a new color and there was a need to learn how to make our cultural activities a platform for the promotion of our social as well as economic activities as well. PPP Chairman said that Sindh Culture Day may be celebrated every year with a new theme like the days commemorates by the UN. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that diversity of cultures, religions, ethnicities, and creed is the new nomenclature of modern peace and harmony. He extended heartiest congratulations to all those celebrating the Sindh Culture Day in the four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Islamabad.

Other Politicians, in their message on this occasion, said the biggest heritage of the people of Sindh was their selfless love adding that Sindh is the land of Sufis and saints who always preached love, peace, unity, and harmony. They are of the view that Sindh is smiling with the message of peace, love, humanity, harmony and cultural values adding that Sindh Cultural Day highlights the evergreen cultural values of the province. They said Sindh had great love and passion for its culture. Sindh has a 5,000 years old culture which was a celebration in itself adding that Sindh has always been a cultural hub of civilization and has a rich heritage.

Every year on the first Sunday of December the Sindh Cultural Day is celebrated all over Sindh.  Almost all the nationalist, political parties, social, civil, and other organizations on the day took out rallies from various parts of the district to commemorate the day.

The celebration was started early in the morning while continued till evening.
