Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has recovered from the novel coronavirus as he was tested negative.
According to the details, in a statement, Usman Buzdar thanked the people for their prayers as he recovered from the dread virus with the blessings of Almighty Allah.
He added that, “I continuously issued necessary instructions through the principal secretary during self-isolation; after the recovery, I will continue to serve the people with revived passion and commitment.”
The Chief Minister suggested that people should wear face masks and adopt necessary precautions to remain safe from this fatal disease.
It is pertinent to mention that on Tuesday night, some TV channels reported that the chief minister had been tested corona positive again. However, the handout issued Wednesday claimed that Buzdar had been tested negative.
Back on December 21st, 2020 Usman Buzdar had tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) said that 50 more people succumbed to the disease during this period, whereas the death toll from the infection has soared to 10,511.
