Chief of the Army Steff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed heartfelt condolences on the passing of the mother of General Pervez Musharraf (Retired).
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), COAS said, “May Allah bless the departed soul in eternal peace and give strength to the bereaved family, Aameen.”

Note that, a retired four-star general and former President General Pervez Musharraf’s mother has passed away.
Family sources say the former president’s mother was in Dubai and was taken to hospital after her health deteriorated.
Pervez Musharraf’s mother was born in 1920 in Lucknow, India. She completed her primary education there and later enrolled at Delhi University for further studies, from which she graduated with a degree in English Literature.
Zareen Musharraf was married at an early age. Her father worked as an accountant in the Foreign Office during the British Indian rule.
After the marriage, Zareen Musharraf gave birth to three sons, the eldest Javed Musharraf who lives in Egypt, second Pervez Musharraf and the third Naveed Musharraf who is based in the United States.
