The former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has returned to Pakistan from London.

According to the media reports, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi reached the Islamabad airport from London via Dubai on an international flight.

On his return from the United States, Abbasi stayed in London for five days and met former PM Nawaz Sharif.

In his meeting with former PM Nawaz Sharif, who is in London for medical treatment, Abbasi conveyed PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif’s message to his elder brother, the sources said.

Abbasi reportedly has an important message from the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and Vice-President Maryam Nawaz.

Back in December, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had left for the US to visit his sister and brother-in-law, both of whom had tested positive for coronavirus and were hospitalized.

The matter was placed before the cabinet through circulation and it approved a one-time waiver.

A summary was then approved by the Federal Ministry of Interior under which the government removed Abbasi’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL) and allowed him to fly to the United States.
