Govt introducing smart technologies in agriculture & other sectors, says Fawad Chaudhry
Federal Minister of science and technology Fawad Chaudhry said that the government is utilizing all available resources to introduce smart technologies in agriculture and other sectors.
Fawad Chaudhry spoke at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the National Center for Industrial Biotechnology and solarization project at Arid Agriculture University in Rawalpindi.
He said that the government is presently focusing on three areas, including electronics, precision agriculture, and chemicals.
He added that the National Centre for Industrial Biotechnology would be a landmark center to conduct research work on Industrial Biotechnology and agriculture.
Apart from that, he said that they will have to modernize our agriculture if we want to complete the world.
