The Balochistan government has decided to launch the Green Bus service project in Quetta. Affordable, comfortable and quality transport services will be provided to the travelers of the provincial capital.
The opening work containing the tendering process for starting the service has been completed, as reported by an official of the provincial government.
The green bus service is said to lessen air pollution in the city and have a positive effect on the traffic system in terms of regulating it.
Initially, 2 buses for women and 8 other buses will start on their 2 routes in Quetta. An official of the government of Balochistan further stated that the green bus project have special importance for providing modern transport facilities to the citizens.
In other news, the Met Department has predicted that Karachi might experience a drop in temperatures in the coming week. As per the Met department, the temperature can drop down to 6 degrees.
On Wednesday, 13 January, the metropolis had recorded a minimum temperature of 7.5°C in the morning.
