Minister of Defence Pervez Khattak Sunday said on Sunday that he is sincere and indebted to the Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to the details, in a tweet today, Minister of Defence said that:

Clearly mentioned in my speech for the locals of my village in Nowshera that I’m sincere & indebted to Imran Khan.

Pervez Khattak added that:

“We are successful in our constituency due to our efforts and support of Imran Khan.”

He went on to say that:

“We will defeat all the opposition parties ganged up against the candidate we are supporting for the by-election.”

It should be noted that in his earlier, the Minister of Defence said that fissures in the ranks of the antigovernment alliance, the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had now come to limelight as its leaders had presented different narratives to dislodge the incumbent government.

In his address he said that, “Prime Minister Imran Khan would not come under pressure due to the opposition’s protest movement and the PTI government would complete its constitutional term.”

The defence minister said that PDM had no proper agenda and it only wanted protection for its own leaders.

He said staging rallies and public meetings was the right of the opposition parties and the government would never impede them but insisted these events would fail to pressure the government.
