Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a high-level meeting on law and order in Balochistan today (Saturday) in Quetta.

According to details, a high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding the Machh tragedy and law and order in the province.

The meeting was attended by Governor Balochistan Amanullah Yasinzai, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan, Federal Ministers Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Syed Ali Zaidi.

Apart from them, Ali Amin Gandapur, Special Assistant Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri, Interior Minister Zia Lango, Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali, IG Police Balochistan Mohsin Hassan Butt, Chief Secretary Balochistan Captain (R) Fazil Asghar and senior civil and military officials also attended.

The meeting reviewed the law and order situation in the province and briefed the Prime Minister about the Machh tragedy.

The meeting also reviewed measures for the protection of the Hazara community.

Prime Minister Imran Khan Reaches Quetta:

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan reached Quetta on Saturday (today) after funeral prayers of Machh victims were offered.

As per the details, the premier met the heirs of the massacred coal miners in the Machh Incident. He also met the relatives of Machh victims to express condolences.

Khan was accompanied by interior minister Sheikh Rasheed. Federal Minister Ali Zaidi and PM’s special assistant Zulfiqar Bukhari are present in Quetta.
