A magnitude 5.2 earthquake shook Swat and its adjoining areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
The tremors were felt in the northern part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Swat and citizens came out of their homes, offices and shops reciting Quranic verses.
According to the report, 5.2 magnitude tremors were felt in Deer Bala, Mansehra, Balakot and adjoining areas, while no damage was reported.
The epicentre was reported at a depth of 105 km with a magnitude of 5.2.
Earlier, a magnitude 7.5 earthquake had shaken Malakand and Hazara on October 16, 2016, killing 48 people and injuring 133 in Shangla.
Also, it may be recalled that on June 16 this year, tremors were also felt in the upper parts of the country, including the federal capital Islamabad and Peshawar.
