Shehbaz Sharif Accuses Government Of Manipulating Revenue figures

Lahore Accountability Court on Monday adjourned the money laundering case hearing against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and his family members till January 6th.

According to the details, during the proceedings, PML-N President requested the accountability court in Lahore to form a medical board for him.

During the case hearing, PML-N President said he appeared before the court despite poor health and on which Judge Accountability Court Jawad ul Hassan wished him good health.

Shehbaz Sharif requested the court to adjourn the case hearing as his lawyer was not present.

The Accountability Court Judge also inquired about the absence of Shehbaz Sharif’s lawyer.

It is pertinent to note that, according to the NAB investigation report, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Sharif family Muhammad Usman laundered money for the Shehbaz family.

Earlier Shehbaz Sharif, complained that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials treated him in an “inhumane and humiliating” way while he was imprisoned in jail.

Shehbaz said while giving his statement to the accountability court that he was properly aware of the reason for being imprisoned, but it was his basic right to get medical treatment for his backache, PML-N President has been suffering for 25 years.

Shehbaz also alleged that his food was being placed on the floor instead of being served at the table. The PML-N leader said,

“This is being deliberately so that I have to bend to pick it up. It is happening at the behest of Imran Khan and Shehzad Akbar.”
