Pakistan-Turkey and Azerbaijan will exchange views on global and regional issues and possibilities of enhanced cooperation in all areas of common interest today in the second trilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers.
According to the details, the meeting will take place in the federal capital. The three sides will exchange views on new and emerging threats to regional peace and security, the challenges faced by the novel coronavirus, environment, Climate Change and economic development targets.
They will also explore possibilities of deepening trilateral cooperation in all areas of common interest, including peace and security, trade and investment, science and technology, education and culture.
Pakistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey enjoy close fraternal relations based on common faith, values, culture and history; deeply embedded in mutual trust and understanding.
It should be noted that the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu along with a 20-member delegation arrived in Pakistan on a three-day official visit.
The 20-member delegation includes officials of the education and the commerce ministry.
Turkish popular drama Diriliş: Ertuğrul series actors Nurettin Sönmez aka Bamsı Beyrek and Ayberk Pekcan aka Artuk Bey were also among the delegation arrived in Islamabad.
The actors will participate in different activities during their three-day stay in Pakistan.
According to the Foreign Office, the Turkish foreign minister along with his delegation will hold a meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to discuss bilateral relations besides exchanging views on regional and international issues.
