Foreign Minister (FM) Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi bashed Opposition on Sunday and said that Imran Khan is an ‘elected’ Prime Minister, not the ‘selected’ one.

Addressing media in Multan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the opposition alliance is the unnatural alliance which has no destination.

He said that the opposition alliance wants to protect looted wealth of the nation and end of the ongoing corruption cases.

He said a strict and across the board accountability will be made of those who looted and plundered the national exchequer.

While responding to Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s suggestion of no confidence motion to dislodge PTI government, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the incumbent Imran Khan leadership will defeat the motion in the parliament.

Commenting about the Broadsheet matter against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the Opposition should face accountability process rather than criticizing the Judges.

FM Qureshi reiterated the incumbent government will not grant any NRO to the corrupt leaders who had plundered the national wealth.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the PML-N leaders could not mislead the people by telling lies as they had already been exposed before the masses. He maintained that the government will complete its constitutional term.

The Foreign Minister said the world and region have changed in these four years and lot of changes has also occurred in Pakistan.

He said the new US administration will soon realize that India has changed under Modi now and it is no more a democratic country. He said voices are also being raised in this regard inside India.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Kashmiris are facing Indian brutalities in the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir while minorities are finding themselves unsafe in India.

He said there is a harmony between Joe Boden and Pakistan government’s policies as they are similar to each other.

The Foreign Minister said Joe Biden government wants reduction in violence in Afghanistan while Pakistan also fully supports democracy in Afghanistan.

He said Pakistan’s stance regarding Palestine issue is clear as Pakistan will not recognize Israel until a peaceful solution of Palestine issue.

It may be recailled that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Friday that he would suggest that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) table a no-confidence motion in the parliament to dislodge the PTI government.

“The PPP through the platform of Pakistan Democratic Movement will send this [PTI] government home in a democratic, legal and constitutional way,” he said while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Larkana Industrial Zone.

Bilawal Bhutto claimed that the impact of his proposed move will be far greater than the public meetings, which the PDM has been organizing across the country. “We will see them [PTI government] perspiring far greater over our meeting on a cup of tea then they have perspired even to our ten public meetings.”
