Federal Parliamentary Secretary for railways Farrukh Habib said on Saturday that Pakistan Democratic Movement’s outcry over the foreign funding case is unjustified.
As per the details, Farrukh Habib said while addressing media in Faisalabad that PDM parties received funds in their accounts through money laundering and are afraid of being held accountable.
He added that their families and wealth are abroad.
He said the Sharif family caused the loss of billions of rupees to Pakistan and it will not be given NRO at any cost by the premier.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has assured that an open hearing of the foreign funding case would only be held after the report of the scrutiny committee.
ECP spokesperson said that an open hearing of the foreign funding case will be held by the electrocal body after the report.
The spokesperson said that there are difficulties over holding the opening hearing of the case. The spokesperson added that the scrutiny committee is meeting in the presence of the representatives of the parties.
