President confers Hilal-e-Imtiaz (M) on Jordan’s top military Official

President Dr. Arif Alvi has conferred Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) on Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordanian Armed Forces, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity.

According to the details, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) was conferred to the Jordanian Defense Official in recognition of his efforts to further strengthen the defense relations between Pakistan and Jordan.

The investiture ceremony was held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Jordan Armed Forces, Maj Gen Yousef Ahmed Al Hnaity also met Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi at Naval Headquarters.

According to spokesperson of Pakistan Navy, Maj Gen Yousef Ahmed Al Hnaity was presented Guard of Honor and laid floral wreath at Shuhada monument. Subsequently, he was introduced to Principal Staff Officers.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, bilateral collaboration and regional security were discussed. The visiting dignitary appreciated and acknowledged Pakistan Navy’s efforts and commitments in support of collaborative maritime security in the region

Earlier on Wednesday, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity, called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS).

COAS said that Pakistan values its brotherly relations with Jordan and Pakistan Army looks forward for enhanced defense and security cooperation with Jordan Armed Forces.

Visiting dignitary appreciated professionalism of Pakistan Army and its continuous efforts for regional peace and stability.
