Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the provision of relief to the people is top priority of the government.
Prime Minister talked to members of Parliament hailing from Swabi in Islamabad. During the meeting, the parliament briefed the premier about the issues faced in their respective constituencies and steps taken for addressing those issues.
He said that public representatives should raise their voices in assemblies for welfare of people of their respective constituencies.
Earlier, National Assembly members Asim Nazir and Khurram Shahzad, along with Shahid Nazir from Faisalabad, called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Friday.
According to details, they presented recommendations to the premier regarding industrial development in Faisalabad and also talked about steps taken on a priority basis to resolve problems in their respective constituencies.
On this occasion, the PM said that industrial development is the top priority of the government as it is critical for job creation and enhancing exports. He has also expressed his desire that members of the Senate should be elected transparently.
Imran Khan said the government will accept the verdict of the Supreme Court in this regard.
