Railways Need More Time To Restore Online Booking System

Lahore: PR Lahore Divisional Commercial Officer Shirin Hina Asghar apologized to the passengers for inconvenience after the online booking system crashed, adding that restoration of the system may take another day.

Railway booking system has come to a standstill across the country. Passengers are facing difficulties at railway stations and reservation offices.

Passengers say authorities should immediately restore the online system of Pakistan Railways. Online ticket reservation is closed due to link down.

Despite the passage of 24 hours, the IT department of Pakistan Railways could not rectify the problem. Passengers are reaching the reservation offices for booking, but they get nothing but disappointment.

Railway officials are advising passengers to get open tickets till the system is restored. They say it may take another day to fix the system.

It may be recalled that the online system of the railways has crashed at 6 am on Tuesday, passengers are also facing severe problems due to poor railway booking system.
