Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Friday said that the opposition alliance will fail in every of its tactic to oust Imran Khan Government.
Addressing a news conference in Karachi, Sheikh Rashid said that the nation has understood the foul politics of the opposition. The Anti-PTI alliance has no credibility and Imran Khan will complete his five years term.
Sheikh Rashid added that, ‘Do what you may, your reign will not come.’
Speaking about the protest staged outside Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Sheikh Rashid stated that the government created no hindrances in the way of the opposition’s protest outside the (ECP).
While commenting on Broadsheet case he stated that Prime Minister Imran cited 40,000 people while opposition couldn’t even prove 40. He said that the Broadsheet matter is the ‘Panama 2’ and more revelations will be publicized about the matter against former premier Nawaz Sharif.
Sheikh Rashid added that every time the Opposition disrespects the Judiciary and the Armed Forces of Pakistan. He added that the foreign powers want to disrupt peace between China and Pakistan by targeting CPEC.
On Thursday, the Minister said that government wanted to make the whole Karachi a safe city by installing CCTV cameras and hoped that the Sindh government would provide funds for it to resolve the issue of security permanently as the provincial government had funds.
Minister of Interior also met Sindh Governor Imran Ismail at the Governor’s House.
They discussed overall law and order situation in Sindh province especially in the metropolis and other issues of mutual interests, according to a statement.
Imran Ismail on the occasion said that lights of the city had restored because of the better law and order situation.
