PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz lauded workers and said that in the by-elections in Daska, Wazirabad and Nowshera, the workers supported the statement of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and voted for him.
During a press conference in Lahore, she said that the workers not only cast their votes but also guarded their votes till the last moment.
“People had recognized the faces of the vote thieves,” he said.
Maryam Nawaz said that she was grateful to Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah and other members of the National Assembly and party officials for their services during the By-elections.
Maryam Nawaz said that a drug case was filed against Rana Sanaullah which was reversed.
He said that Ahsan Iqbal also stayed awake till morning and exposed the vote thieves.
“I congratulate all of you on your great victory in the by-elections,” she said.
The PML-N vice-president said, “We have snatched three seats from the mouth of a these vote thieves.”
“People of all four provinces have rejected Imran Khan,” Maryam added.
Maryam Nawaz also expressed sorrow over the death of two youths yesterday and said that two lives were lost due to fear of rigging created by the government.
“A young man belonged to the ruling party, I am very grieved for the loss of human life and offer my condolences to his family,” she said.
Note that, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz has won PK-63 Nowshera and PP-51 Wazirabad seats in the by-election, according to the unofficial results.
Moreover, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has won NA-45 Kurram. Malik Fakhar Zaman from PTI got 16,313 votes whereas Independent candidate Syed Jamal got 14,228 votes. Malik Jamil Khan from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam got 14,342 votes.
PML-N candidate Begum Talat Mahmood has won 53,903 votes in PP-51 Wazirabad while PTI candidate Muhammad Yousaf got 48,484 votes.
Apart from that, PML-N candidate Ikhtiar Wali has won the by-election in PK-63 Nowshera with 21,122 votes. But, PTI member Mian Umar got 17,023 votes.
