In Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, by-elections were held in four constituencies of the National and Provincial Assemblies, after which the counting of votes is underway.

Polling was held in NA-75 Sialkot, NA-45 Karam, PP-51 Gujranwala and PK-63 Nowshera from 8 am to 5 pm.

The process of polling was delayed due to the late arrival of staff at some polling stations. Somewhere Corona SOPs were strictly observed and sometimes it was ignored. Elderly voters also reached the polling stations.

According to unconfirmed and unofficial results, the PML-N has snatched one seat from the PTI till the last report, while it has also successfully defended a provincial seat in Punjab and is leading in a National Assembly seat.

PML-N candidates were declared successful in PK-63 Nowshera, while PML-N is leading in NA-75 Sialkot. In PP-51 Gujranwala, the PML-N candidate was declared the winner while in NA-45, the PTI candidate has the upper hand.

NA 75 Sialkot

According to unconfirmed and unofficial results of 186 out of 360 by-elections in NA-75 Daska constituency, PML-N’s Syeda Noshin Iftikhar is leading with 52,559 votes while PTI’s Ali Asjad Khan got 47,075 votes Taxes are second.

360 polling stations were set up in NA-75 Sialkot. Voters started arriving outside the polling stations in the morning and with the passage of time, queues were formed. The total number of voters in the constituency is 44,003. There is a fierce competition between PML-N candidate Syeda Noshin Iftikhar and PTI candidate Ali Asjad Malhi.

NA 45 Kurram District

According to unofficial results of 103 polling stations of NA-45 Kurram by-election, Malik Fakhruzzaman of PTI is leading with 13992 votes while independent candidate Haji Syed Jamal is second with 13579 votes. Are on

The NA-45 Kurram district seat fell vacant following the death of JUI-M MNA Munir Khan Orakzai. Polling was going on in the tribal district from 8 am to 5 pm.

There are a total of 27 candidates in the fray. 134 polling stations were set up in the constituency.

PK63 Nowshera

According to unconfirmed and unofficial results of all 102 polling stations in PK-63 constituency of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, PML-N’s Ikhtiar Wali came first with 21,122 votes while PTI’s Mian Umar got 17,023 votes. The final result will be released by the Election Commission.

102 polling stations were set up in PK-63 Nowshera. Polling at polling station 44 was delayed by about an hour, with the staff arriving late, according to the presiding officer.

SOPs in Nowshera were also strictly observed. The seat fell vacant following the death of former provincial minister Jamsheduddin Kakakhel.

Constituency PP-51

According to unconfirmed and unofficial results of 162 polling stations of Punjab Assembly constituency PP-51 Wazirabad, PML-N’s Begum Talat Mahmood won with 53903 votes while PTI’s Chaudhry Yusuf came second with 48484 votes. Stay on

Constituency PP-51 seat was vacated due to the death of PML-N’s Shaukat Manzoor Cheema. This constituency consists of Wazirabad city, Sohdara and other rural areas.

The total number of voters here is 253,949 while polling was held at 162 polling stations.
