Pakistan recorded 32 deaths and 1,541 infections due to the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the countrywide death toll from the Covid-19 has now climbed up to 12,804.  With the fresh reported cases, the total number of infections in Pakistan now stands at 577,482.

Sindh remained the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Whereas the most numbers of casualties have been reported in Punjab.

Till now 257,408 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 170,222 in Punjab, 71,728 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 19,035 in Balochistan, 44,032 in Islamabad, 10,101 in Azad Kashmir and 4,956 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Whereas 5,323 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 4,322 in Sindh, 2,065 in KP, 200 in Balochistan, 496 in Islamabad, 296 in Azad Kashmir and 102 in Gilgit Baltistan.
