An emergency meeting of the federal cabinet will be convened today in Islamabad.
According to the details, Imran Khan, the Prime Minister will be chairing the session. The meeting will be convened at 4:30 pm today.
The meeting will discuss the matters related to the presidential reference seeking open ballot voting in the upcoming senate elections.
Moreover, the meeting will also mull over the future strategy regarding to the re-election in NA-75 Daska.
It should be noted that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday has declared NA-75 by-elections ‘null and void.’
The top electoral body has ordered re-polling in Sialkot’s NA-75. The fresh elections will be held on March 18.
