Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday restated that he will do his best to raise voice for Kashmir freedom on every forum.

Addressing in Kotli, Imran Khan said that he urged former US President Donald Trump thrice to mediate on the Kashmir matter.

He said that whole Muslim world is standing united for the support of Kashmir struggle.

Prime Minister Imran Khan earlier said that Pakistan will stand united and resolute with the Kashmiris in their legitimate struggle for self-determination.

In a series of tweets on account of Kashmir Solidarity Day, Imran Khan said

“On #KashmirSolidarityDay, I want to reiterate that Pakistan stands united & resolute with the Kashmiris in their legitimate struggle for self-determination, which has been reaffirmed by the international community in numerous UNSC resolutions.”

Imran Khan said that:

If India demonstrates sincerity in seeking a just solution to the Kashmir issue, in accordance with UNSC resolutions, we are ready to take two steps forward for peace. But let no one mistake our desire for stability & peace as a sign of weakness.

He went on to say that

Rather, it is because of our strength & confidence as a nation that we are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure a just peace that fulfills the legitimate aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Let it be known that Pakistan is observing Kashmir Solidarity Day, today, with renewed commitment to bring the issue to the limelight and express support of the nation to the just struggle of the Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under the United Nations resolutions.

The events are being organised in a novel manner to highlight the facade behind India’s so-called democracy prevailing in Delhi that ripped off the special status of Kashmir on August 5, 2019.

The day was first observed back in 1991 when the entire political leadership of the country unanimously expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren.
