Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), reiterated that we have to make sacrifices to resolve the Kashmir issue, saying that an illegitimate and incompetent government has no right to decide the future of Kashmiris.

Addressing a rally on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day in Muzaffarabad, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the day of solidarity with the people of Kashmir is being celebrated all over Pakistan today and the PDM leadership are here to show solidarity.

He said that every Kashmiri is with Pakistan, their heart and feelings are connected with Pakistan and those who are trying to separate Kashmiris from us will not be forgiven.

He said that Kashmiris decided to join Pakistan and still stand by it but if there was a competent government in Pakistan, no Modi could dare to end the special status of occupied Kashmir and make it a province of India.

He said that if India has betrayed the resolutions of the security council by saying Kashmir an integral part of it.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that we have to take a firm stand on the Kashmir issue and force India to reverse its decision which Modi government made last year against the aspirations of Kashmiris.

‘Kashmiris! Don’t allow Establishment to impose its decisions’
“I declare my solidarity with you again today. Demonstrations are taking place in every district centre of Pakistan and this bond will always remain. We are one nation, one ummah,” he said.
