The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) has issued a terror alert for Karachi.

NACTA has warned that the Foreign backed attackers have planned to target key installations. The institution conveyed the threat alert to the concerned authorities.

Sindh inspector general of police (IGP), and Rangers were alarmed about the recent threat alert. The City authorities have recommended extreme vigilance and heightened security measures in the port city.

NACT has advised citizen to carry personnel identification documents and report any suspicious activity or objects to authorities.

Moreover, NACTA advised to remain courteous and cooperative if approached and questioned by security personnel.

Earlier in January this year, NACTA) has issued a terrorism alert for Karachi, Sindh Province, as of Jan. 7 due to possible attacks by foreign-backed militants. The organization recommended that officials maintain heightened security throughout the city.
