Operation Swift Retort: PAF releases special promo to honor heroes
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Wednesday has released promo of a national song prepared to honor the heroes of Operation Swift Retort.
According to the details, the song will be released tomorrow. The promo highlights patriotism reaffirms the resolve that every personnel of Pakistan Air Force is ready to defend Pakistan at every time.
Earlier in the day, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan in his statement said that operation Swift retort proved Pakistan’s aerial power, Pakistan chose the time, targets, aircraft and weapons.
Air Chief Marshall said that India’s belligerent attitude can destabilize the power dynamics and strategic stability in the region. Air power is the most important aspect of modern warfare. Swift Retort proved the operational and psychological superiority of the PAF.
It may be recalled that on 27 February 2019, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) conducted six airstrikes at multiple locations in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).
The airstrikes were part of PAF military operation codename Operation Swift Retort.
Pakistan Air Force successfully managed to unmask the myth that Indian conventional superiority would be enough to checkmate Pakistan. PAF obliterated Indian assumption of conventional superiority by the jaw-breaking reaction.
During the aerial skirmish with India that day, Pakistan piled a long list of mishaps for its opponent. On that list were two Indian jets, and a captured pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. And to add insult to the injury, India’s air defence system shot down own helicopter in fog of war.
