On this day in 2019, the Pakistan Air force gave a swift and remarkable response to the Indian airstrike in Operation Swift Retort. The contribution of the Armed forces cannot be forgotten.

On this occasion, Pakistan Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a statement in which it was assured that Pakistan stands for peace. However, it also mentioned that the country shall respond with full might.

“27th Feb 2019 is a testament that Pak AF, with support of the nation, will always defend the motherland against all threats,” ISPR mentioned about Operation Swift Retort.” said Director General ISPR Major Babar Iftikhar.

“It is not numbers but courage & will of a resilient nation that triumphs in the end. Pakistan stands for peace but when challenged, shall respond with full might.”

On February 27, the Pakistan Air Force shot down Indian planes violating the country’s airspace and their pilot had just arrested Abhinandan.
