The anti-Government alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is all set to hold its rally in Hyderabad.

According to the details, the second biggest city of the Sindh province will host the Opposition alliance rally today.

Opposition leaders including Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address the rally.

However, Pakistan Muslim League (N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz won’t be attending as her daughter Mehrunnisa is in ICU due to severe head injury.

The district administration of Hyderabad has instructed all shops in the city to close by 1pm because of the rally.

Several streets of the city have been decorated with the party’s flags as well as posters of PDM leaders.  Aside from that, a reception camp has also been set up for the purpose.

Speaking about the arrangements, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that  the Hyderabad jalsa will be “bigger than all other PDM jalsas of the past.”

Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman held meeting with PPP leaders Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto, the previous day.

During the meeting at Bilawal House, the leaders discussed matters related to long march and upcoming senate elections.

According to sources, Sindh minister for information Nasir Hussain Shah and Sindh Educational Minister Saeed Ghani were also present during the meeting.
