The Anti-Government Alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is all set to meet today in Islamabad to mull over the future course of action against Imran Khan Leadership.

According to the details, the meeting will be chaired by PDM President Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Resignations from assemblies, long march and no-confidence motion against PTI is expected to come under the discussion.

All the top leaders of the constituent parties in the opposition alliance, including Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Maryam Nawaz, will attend the meeting, while PML N Supreme Leader Nawaz Sharif and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Zardari will join via video link.

All parties in the opposition alliance are in favour of resignations and long march option except for the PPP. However, if the PPP does not agree on resignations and Long March, the PDM will exclude the party from the opposition alliance.

Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said in his recent statement that if the PPP did not resign after the decision of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), then it will be out of the alliance.

Talking to media outside the Accountability Court Islamabad, Shahid Khaqan said it has PDM’s one-point agenda that is to run the country in right direction according to the Constitution.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said this protest and alliance are prompted because the country is not being run as per Constitution.
