The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is all set to address a public gathering in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu Kashmir, where Prime Minister Imran Khan will also address.
According to the details, PDM will shake fist at the Imran Khan Leadership and also express solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren to their sacrifices and struggle for the right of self-determination.
The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has also announced a long march against the federal government on March 26.
After the PDM meeting in Islamabad, Maulana Fazlur Rehman along with Maryam Nawaz, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other leaders gave details of the meeting in a news conference.
He said the meeting had decided that “the PDM parties will not compete with each other in the Senate elections and will contest this election together.”
JUI-F chief earlier said the PDM parties had decided to “stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the common man” against the rulers, whom he held responsible for a steep rise in the prices of electricity, gas, petrol and food items.
The alliance also rejected the inquiry commission comprising retired Supreme Court Justice Azmat Saeed Sheikh set up by the government to probe the Broadsheet scandal, and “declares it an attempt by the government to mask its corruption”, he added.
He announced that the PDM will also join and support government employees coming to Islamabad to protest on February 10.
