Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced discounts in fares for domestic travels after the beginning of the spring season.
PIA has revealed the discounted rates for flights to Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore.
As per the new announcement, PIA is now offering discounted fares while carrying 20-kilogram luggage for Rs 7,500 for one side. On 40-kg luggage, passengers will have to pay Rs 8,500.
The new initiative will come into effect immediately. PIA spokesperson said that the fares have been decreased to promote tourism and local people during the spring season.
Earlier, Captain of South African Cricket team Quinton De Kock sent an autographed shirt to thank the Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan International Airlines.
The national flag carrier, in its official Twitter handle, said that South African Cricket team Captain Quinton De Kock sent an autographed shirt to CEO PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik in a gesture to show satisfaction with the PIA services and hospitality.
PIA said that the shirt will become part of its memorabilia.
