PM to hold important meetings in Lahore
Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay a day long visit to Lahore today and hold important meetings with the Punjab Leadership.
He will be chief guest at the inauguration of Miyawaki urban forest at Jilani Park, Lahore.
The Prime Minister will be briefed about the progress made so far to achieve the target of fifty one Urban Forest sites in the provincial capital to check air pollution and protect environment.
Imran Khan will also chair a meeting on the provision of Universal Health Coverage in Punjab and the steps taken to increase the number of fruit and vegetable markets and bring down the prices of wheat flour.
In the previous meeting with the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, the premier was apprised on various development projects and the overall situation of the province.
Last year in December, Prime Minister Imran undertook a daylong visit to the industrial city of Sialkot, during which he inaugurated AirSial, the country’s third airline in the private sector, launched several development projects worth billions of rupees and attended a ceremony organized by the local businessmen.
The same month the premier inaugurated the Institute of Cardiology and laid the foundation for the Hayatabad Sports Complex renovation project during his visit to Peshawar.
