Federal Minister for planning and development Asad Umar announced on Monday that registration for coronavirus vaccination for senior citizens has begun.

Taking to Twitter, Umar announced that registration for the vaccination of all the citizens aged 65 and above has begun, their vaccination will begin in March.

Asad Umar has also informed the readers about the registration procedure. The citizens will have to write the National Identity Card (NIC) number and send the message on 1166.

Pakistan kicks off COVID-19 vaccination drive across all federating units

Pakistan on February 3rd kicked off its coronavirus vaccination drive across all federating units with first jabs administered to frontline health workers.

According to the details, the vaccination drive launching ceremonies were simultaneously held in Islamabad, Sindh, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces and Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
