4th Int’l Pakistan Army Team Spirit Competition-2021 underway in Kharian

4th International Pakistan Army Team Spirit (PATS) Competition 2021 has officially is underway at the National Counter-Terrorism Center Pabbi near Kharian.

According to the official statement from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Team Spirit competition is being held under very challenging environment aimed at evaluating physical endurance, mental agility and tactical proficiency of the participating teams.

ISPR in its statement said that so far the teams have participated in endurance test, hideout occupation and rehearsed quick tactical level battle drills. The participants will engage in the most challenging enduring march and water obstacle crossing events today.

Jordan, Sri Lanka, Turkey, and Uzbekistan are taking part as participants whereas Morocco, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan are participating as observers in the competition.

Since 2018, Pakistan Army Team Spirit (PATS) Competition is being held each year to test tactical skills in physical and professional domains as well as agility of the participating teams to generate responses in challenging real-time field scenarios.

The event subjects the participating teams to various cross-domain scenarios and tasks including physical endurance, water obstacle crossing, close target reconnaissance, and protective approach under chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear environment.

The competition is designed to test tactical skills in physical and professional domains as well as agility of the participating teams to generate responses in challenging real-time field scenarios.
