COAS, UK Chief of Defense Staff discuss Afghan peace process

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met Chief of Defense Staff United Kingdom Army General Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter on Tuesday.

According to the latest update by Pakistan Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both discussed the matters of mutual interests including the Afghan peace process, security, and defense cooperation.

Moreover, the evolving global geostrategic environment was also discussed in the meeting.

Apart from that, the visiting dignitary also appreciated Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region and pledged to further enhance bilateral relations between both countries.

COAS expresses thoughts on International Women’s Day 2021

International Women’s Day is being observed today. On this occasion, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed thoughts.

According to Pakistan Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS has praised women working in forces and women working in other sectors as well.

“Pakistani women contributed immensely for glory & honor of our nation. They are also @ forefront against COVID.”

He added, “Women in uniform have proved their mettle by contributing copiously in diverse fields serving the nation & humanity.”
