After the third wave of coronavirus hits Pakistan, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood showed concern for the students, teachers, and the staff of educational institutions.
He took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote,
“The third coronavirus wave is serious; requires careful review.”
The federal minister said that a meeting will be held on March 24 (Wednesday) at the NCOC to take a decision regarding the opening of further closure of educational institutions.

All the education and health ministers will be present at the meeting.
“Health of students, teachers/staff primary consideration,” said Shafqat Mahmood.
Earlier, Shafqat Mahmood had announced that schools would remain open in Sindh and Baluchistan with 50 percent attendance every day.
