The Islamabad Administration on Sunday decided to enforce lockdown in different areas due to the significant rise in the novel coronavirus cases.
In a series of tweets by the Office of Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, the areas include DHA 2, Soan garden, Public Works Department (PWD), and Barakahu.
According to the Office of Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, some areas of G-6, G-10 and G-8 are also included.

According to the statement, lockdown will be enforced in the affected areas from midnight.
It should be mentioned here that, the government of Pakistan today banned all kinds of indoor and outdoor gatherings with immediate effect to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.
These gatherings include all cultural, political, sports, social and other events. National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) in its statement today said that there will be a complete ban on marriage ceremonies, including indoor and outdoor from April 5th.
NCOC will provide updated hotspot maps to provinces for enforcement of expanded lockdowns with effect from tomorrow.
