All educational institutions will remain closed in nine districts of Punjab till April 11.
This has been announced by the federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood on Wednesday.
As per the details, Mehmood addressed the media after a meeting of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC). He said that closure is for all forms of educational institutions including universities and academies.
The new decision will be applied in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sargodha, and Sheikhupura. Educational institutions in the remaining districts will be open.
Mehmood has also said that all institutions in Islamabad will also remain close as the coronavirus situation in Islamabad is alarming.
