The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nursing Association (KPNA) has announced boycott from providing healthcare facilities and criticized the provincial government for its failure to fulfil its promises.
According to the details, Nurses Alliance spokesman Nasir Ali Shah said that they would hold a sit-in at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Chowk for their demands.
Spokesperson of the Nurses Alliance Nasir Ali Shah further said that the demands of promotion, service structure, MTI act regularization have not been met yet.
Previously, the Nurses of Sindh also boycotted duties all over the province to press the health authorities to accept their “genuine” demands forthwith.
They boycotted duties in all government hospitals of the province to raise their voice for approval of health professional allowance, increase in stipend for nursing students, financial powers for nursing school principals and promotion of nurses under the four-tier formula.
The nurses of Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Jamshoro, Shikarpur, Mithi, Jacobabad, Ghotki, Badin, Kashmore, Dadu and other cities also continued boycott of duties and protest.
