The Newly elected members of the Upper House took oath as Senators at the Parliament House in Islamabad on Friday.

According to the details, Senator Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah administered the oath to the newly elected Senators.

In the next phase of the session that will start after Friday prayers the Upper House will elect its chairman and deputy chairman. The Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Senate will be elected by secret ballot.

Muzaffar Shah will take oath from the newly elected members of the Senate and will elect the Chairman of the Senate, after which the newly elected Chairman will elect the Deputy Chairman and then he will also take oath from the Deputy Chairman.

Later,  Muzaffar Shah will also take oath from the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of Senate.
