Opposition Has Numerical Majority To Win Chairmanship In Senate: Nasir Hussain Shah

Pakistan Peoples Party leader Nasir Hussain Shah has said that joint PDM candidate Yousuf Raza Gilani will win the Chairmanship in the Upper House.

Speaking on Bol News program ‘Bus Bohat Hogaya‘, Sindh Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah said that the opposition has a numerical majority.

He further said that PTI members did not vote for GDA members. Where was Sadiq Sanjarani’s conscience when he was nominated for chairmanship?

The PPP leader said that the PDM candidate has a majority in the Senate elections. We hoped that Yousuf Raza Gilani will win the election of Chairman Senate.

Nasir Hussain Shah said that on the day PTI nominated candidates, differences mounted. Two of their members came forward and voted for us.

He also urged Election Commission. to take notice of statements of Information Minister Shibli Faraz.

Sindh Information Minister said that PTI prlemantarian Aamir Liaqat had objected the nomination of Hafeez Shiekh. In Sindh, PTI members apparently objected to Faisal Wawda’s nominations.
