Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh has been released on Saturday.
Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly said that the provincial government’s political revenge has been exposed in front of all.
He was in prison for one and a half months in cases including interference in official affairs, insurrection, and aerial firing.
Earlier in February, a terrorism case was registered against Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf MPA and Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh.
According to the details, Police said that a case on the complaint of the Sindh government has been registered at Memon Goth PS under terrorism charges, aerial firing and creating a disturbance against Sheikh.
It may be recalled the election commission took strict action against Sheikh for violating the code of conduct in the PS-88 constituency during by elections.
The Election Commission had said that the MPA should be expelled from the constituency for walking around with official protocol and weapons.
