A flag hoisting ceremony was held in Gwadar by Pakistan Army, Deputy Commissioner Gwadar in connection with Pakistan Day.

According to details, the joys of Pakistan Day were also celebrated in full swing in Gwadar. A flag hoisting ceremony was organized by the Pakistan Army in which the flag hoisted at the offices of  Major Aamir Najam, Rare Admiral Jawad and DC Gwadar Abdul Kabir Khan.

The national flag was also hoisted at Mount Batal with the help of laser lights at Gwadar Cricket Stadium.

On the other hand, the citizens of Gwadar organized a car rally on the occasion of Pakistan Day in which the citizens held a rally on Marine Drive.

Earlier today, a graceful Change of Guards ceremony was held at Mazar-e-Iqbal in Lahore this morning as the nation observes Pakistan day.

According to the details, Pakistan Air Force jawans took charge of guard duty from Punjab Rangers.

Air Vice-Marshal Nadeem Akhtar Khan was the Chief Guest on the occasion who laid a floral wreath over the national poet’s grave and offered Fateha.

Later, he paid rich tributes to the great philosopher while writing comments in Visitors’ Book.

The atmosphere was made patriotic by playing the national anthem and songs.

Pakistan Day is being celebrated with a renewed pledge to transform the country into a truly Islamic and welfare state in line with the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The day marks the adoption of the historic Lahore Resolution this day in 1940 that provided a framework for the realization of the goal of a separate homeland for Muslims of South Asia.

The national flag has been hoisted atop all major government buildings and Inter-Services Public Relations has released a special song in connection with Pakistan Day.

In view of the third wave of Covid-19, all the events in connection with the day will be held ensuring compliance to SOPs.

An investiture ceremony will be held at Aiwan-e-Sadar in the afternoon where President Arif Alvi will confer awards and medals to personalities for their outstanding contribution in different fields.

Pakistan Day Parade, which is the main feature of the celebrations, will be held in Islamabad on Thursday in compliance with all the anti-COVID Standard Operating Procedures.
