Pakistan records 61 deaths due to COVID-19 in last 24 hours

Pakistan COVID-19: Cases Drops To Less Than Thousand After Four Months

Pakistan recorded 61 deaths and 2351 new cases related to the novel coronavirus over the last 24 hours.

According to the national dashboard, the total number of deaths from coronavirus in Pakistan has reached 13,656 while the total number of affected people has reached 612,315.

The number of active cases across the country has reached 22,792. Whereas 575,867 people have recovered from the killer virus since outbreak.

The highest number of deaths due to coronavirus is recorded in Punjab where 5,853 people lost their lives while 4,468 have succumbed to the disease in Sindh, 2,179 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 529 in Islamabad, 103 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 202 in Balochistan and 322 in Azad Kashmir.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Islamabad has reached 48,938, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported 76,819 so far, Sindh recorded 261,823, Punjab confirmed 189,362, Balochistan recorded 19,247, Azad Kashmir reported 11,161 and Gilgit-Baltistan recorded 4,965 cases since outbreak.

Vaccination centers have been set up across the country and the entire vaccination process are being controlled by digital mechanisms.
