As per details, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was set to gather today and discuss resignations from assemblies and defeat in Senate elections.

As per sources, members of the parties will be discussing the strategy for the long march while reflecting on the recently held chairman and deputy chairman of Senate elections.

Sources say that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has suggested the PDM partiers resign from the assemblies immediately. Opposition parties have acknowledged the suggestion. But, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has reportedly opposed the move.

Sources narrated that the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President, Maryam Nawaz, has finalized the agenda points and for the PDM session.
PML-N is likely to oppose the no-confidence motion.

Nawaz mentioned that each individual party has its own views hence the decision will be announced once it is mutually made. She is hopeful in convincing the opposing resignations.

According to details, the PML-N is likely to present arguments for not imposing decisions on the opposition alliance anymore.
