The PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has on Sunday advised Prime Minister Imran Khan to focus on providing vaccine doses to the masses rather than making speeches.
In his reaction to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s video message a short while ago, Pervaiz Elahi said, “It is more important for the prime minister to “arrange for vaccines, instead of making speeches.”
He further pointed out the PTI-led government’s failure in controlling inflation and rise in prices of essential commodities.
“The amount of inflation Pakistan is witnessing today has become difficult for people to manage even two meals a day,” he added.
The Punjab Assembly Speaker further added that if the people are not provided immediate relief, “the PTI-led government will find itself in a pickle in the next election”.
Note that Prime Minister Imran Khan has advised the people to fully follow the Coronavirus SOPs and must take precautionary measures in order to tackle this deadly disease.
The premier, in his video message, also directed to take proper health guidelines and must wear masks as the third upcoming wave of the novel Coronavirus is more terrible than the previous two waves.
“We have no proper economic sources to shut the country but we can deal with this pandemic by strictly following the guidelines,” added PM Imran.
He, on the other hand, requested the people to avoid visiting the super-spreader spots like restaurants, weddings or any outdoor event.
The Prime Minister further added, “The third wave in Pakistan is the spread of the UK strain as the new strain of the COVID-19 was more transmissible than the original.”
PM Imran Khan said, “I exercised precaution for a whole year and avoided weddings and private gatherings and practised social distancing.”
