A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane escaped an accident after its emergency door opened at Quetta International Airport.
According to the details, flight PK-502 of PIA was brought to the ground after it escaped an accident after its door opened.
The pilot promptly halted the aeroplane after hearing passengers shouting after the door opened and they were offloaded immediately.
As per details, the incident occurred due to a technical fault in the emergency exit door of a plane.
The PIA spokesperson said, “The plane was grounded immediately after the incident and the emergency gate will be replaced with new one.”
Previously, PIA flight PK-306 was struck by lightning on its way from Karachi to Lahore. However, it was landed safely at Lahore Airport.
Moreover, PIA aircraft had suffered an apparent bird strike whilst taking off from Karachi.
The aircraft had landed safely after the incident and the flight to Islamabad got cancelled.
The flight had 172 passengers and crew on board.
