Prime Minister Imran Khan has on Sunday (today) advised the people to fully follow the Coronavirus SOPs and must take precautionary measures in order to tackle this deadly disease.

The premier, in his video message, also directed to take proper health guidelines and must wear masks as the third upcoming wave of the novel Coronavirus is more terrible than the previous two waves.

“We have no proper economic sources to shut the country but we can deal with this pandemic by strictly following the guidelines,” added PM Imran.

He, on the other hand, requested the people to avoid visiting the super-spreader spots like restaurants, weddings or any outdoor event.

The Prime Minister further added, “The third wave in Pakistan is the spread of the UK strain as the new strain of the COVID-19 was more transmissible than the original.”

PM Imran Khan said, “I exercised precaution for a whole year and avoided weddings and private gatherings and practised social distancing.”

Earlier in the day, in his tweet today, Dr. Faisal Sultan wrote, “PM Imran Khan has made steady clinical recovery from Covid and his lab parameters have remained stable. He has been advised that he may resume work and build up his work routine over the next few days. This is in line with national and international guidelines.”

Note that Prime Minister Imran Khan had tested positive for COVID-19 on March 20th two days after he received the Coronavirus vaccine dose.

However, according to the ministry of health services, Prime Minister Imran Khan was not fully vaccinated when he contracted the virus.

He only got the 1st dose and merely two days ago which is too soon for ANY vaccine to become effective. Anti-bodies develop 2-3 weeks after the 2nd dose of 2-dose COVID vaccines.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi had also contracted the novel Coronavirus.

According to sources, Bushra Bibi also contracted COVID-19, which emerged minutes after the Minister for Health Dr Faisal Sultan confirmed that PM Imran Khan had tested positive for the virus.
