Political leaders from different parties took their time out to wish ‘Happy Holi’ to the Hindu community.

Hindus in Pakistan and across the world are celebrating Holi today. The festivals of colors are one of the most popular festivals among Hindus.

According to sources, the word has been derived from the word ‘Holika’. The event is not new, it was celebrated in the past we well.

Historians say that it was celebrated by all Aryans but more so in Eastern areas of India.

Foreign Minister and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi in his tweet said:

“Wishing our Hindu community in Pakistan and across the world a very happy Holi. May the festival of colours bring peace and happiness.”

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry also extended wishes on Holi.

He wrote in his tweet;

“Very Happy #Holi to all friends celebrating, may the happiness prevails over pain, may the humanity triumphs over extremism and may we overcome Challenges with zeal….”

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal also wished all the Hindu community a very happy Holi, the festival of colours.

Happy Holi wishes for Hindu community, who add colour to Pakistani nation.

Earlier today Prime Minister Imran Khan wished “Happy Holi” to the Hindu community.

“Wishing all our Hindu community a very happy Holi, the festival of colours,” Imran Khan said on Twitter.
